There are two ways to get experience; someone learns from photos and some other one learns by visiting. If a person sees a lion through a picture, she/he can know what shape it has, how the eyes look like or how long the tail is. The lion may look like cute in the frame. But in African safaris that have no bars between, people have different reactions after seeing lions. I remeber what my friend who lived in Alaska told me. While going for catching salmons(the salmon is really good. it has the red flesh.), he saw a bear afar off and was overwhelmed because it was so big and nimble.(it was Anchorage.) Photos cannot deliver that awesomeness. Do you know where I am now? People who like to travel to cities may make a list of downtowns that have a river and skyscraper line such as Toronto, New York, Boston, Chicago and othe states in their heads. And for the next step they may look for the highest buildings on the photo. If it's the CN tower, it's gonna be Toronto dawntown, which i am not in. If it's the Empire State Building, It's New York. Boston? I don't know. If the Sears building's there, you are right! As for people who have never been those sites I think they have no idea for my question. People who saw pictures of the cities may, I don't know, stuggle to discern. Anyway, travelling is fun :DD
